The National Indoor Arena is an extremely ugly building which completely destroys the 200 year old ambience of the canal corridor here, as does the National Sea Life Centre. |

These and other new buildings in this area should have been designed to fit into, not dominate the landscape. |

This bridge on the Erewash canal has been nicely restored. What a pity not to use matching bricks. |
