Section 17: Canal Heritage

The following are a few examples of the type of canal furniture which must be preserved at all costs, and carefully put back in place when repairs are necessary.

This beautiful lamp on the cottage at Wolverhampton top lock
This original Worcs and Birmingham gate tie
This dated coping stone should be retained in situ
As should this coping delightfully shaped for the overflow weir
